Oliver Fontana will return to teach an OEC class (#15281)in Piedmont (Oakland) from September 2 to November 15. Register via the web site at http://oectools.org/Piedmont
David Stepner with a group of patrollers from the south bay will guide an OEC class (#15289) in the mid-peninsula/ south bay area from Sep 2 to Nov 15, 2008. The class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening (7-10pm) and on three weekend days (8am-4pm.). Location is to be determined, but we are trying for a mid-peninsula (eg Palo Alto) site. Bill Person will teach a Weekender OEC class a ski resort near Truckee CA on alternate weekends from Aug 23 to Nov 15. Anyone with a passion to become a patroller is welcome to the Truckee Weekender OEC class. The class is especially designed for students from throughout the Eastern Sierra and Mother Lode Regions who would rather drive to Tahoe seven times for an outdoor experience than make 25 peak time commutes in the Bay Area. The class also serves students from the Tahoe area and those who have schedule conflicts with with other OEC classes. The class schedule is:
Bill Person & David Stepner will teach a two week intensive OEC course at a ski resort near Truckee CA in the two weeks after Thanksgiving, November 29 to December 14. This course is intended for students who cannot attend an earlier course and who can dedicate these two weeks to the course. It is especially appropriate for paid patrol staff, people moving to the Tahoe area and students who may travel long distances to attend the course. The class meets on the following dates
