Tonight we will see an NSP produced video on upper extremity bone and joint injuries. Please print out the upper extremity examination handout and bring it to class. Be familiar with it so you can quickly absorb the examination when you see it in the video.
Tonight guided practice introduces us to splinting. We learn to analyze and package uppper extremity injuries including the fingers, hand, wrist and elbow. Treatment scenarios become richer as we have all bandaging and upper extremity bone and joint injuries to treat. Assessment and vital signs are still keys to our treatment.
